Phoenix GTG & Photographing Models

On Sunday I went to a great seminar called “Phoenix GTG”. It was put on by Rob Ninja-Nicholson and it was basically a chance for a bunch of local photographers to get together and to learn some new things. It was so much fun and to be honest I was a bit skeptical about going.. but I have to admit I was pleasantly surprised! I got some amazing shots, met some amazing people and just had a great time! We were down in downtown Phoenix and found some of the coolest locations. I seriously want to do some senior photos, or even and engagement session down there. Anyway, here are a few of my favorites from the day:

Christy, Jasen, and Andy were the instructors and I have to give them a big thank you for helping me and everyone there!!!

A New Look!

I played around with my blog a bit and came up with this new look. Of course I had the help of my friend Holly, who created a whole new business look for me. I’m thinking of using this for weddings. I’m excited to see how my new business cards turn out too!  I would love to hear your opinions about the new look.. do you like it, should I go back to the gold/gray?  Let me know!  I also wanted to post a quick picture. This is Kade from a session we had a couple of months ago. I really need to post more but I wanted to get this one up… I LOVE this picture.  The chair was a bit crooked from the dirt, but I still like it!

Phoenix Family Photographer| The {S} Family

I love this family! I have known them for years and they are just the coolest and nicest people you will ever meet. They are from Nebraska, so when we went to take photos, they wanted a desert feel. I can always tell when people aren’t from AZ ;) I forget how beautiful the desert is. We decided to head out to South Mountain.. they have a great abandoned old house and then a great view of the city. I am an Arizona native and I can honestly say that I have never been to the top of South Mountain! Crazy huh… and guess that also goes with the fact that in the whole time I’ve been here, I’ve only seen 1 scorpion. Anyway, here are a few favorites from our day:

These really make me want to get my family photos taken up there as well!

My baby is growing up!

My sweet little Reagan is getting so big right before my very eyes! I can’t believe that she is 20 weeks already! I know many of you have asked about pictures of her, so I snapped a quick one of her this weekend to post! So here it is:

The weather has been beautiful and I’m reminded of why I live in Phoenix! You can’t beat 75 degrees in February!! Unfortunately I haven’t had the opportunity to get out and enjoy the wonderful weather. Hopefully this weekend….
Tomorrow I’m taking photos at a small wedding and I’m super excited! I’m shooting at a new place and I’m excited to share it with you all… say stay tuned for that.
Ok.. my bed is calling my name :)

Glendale Newborn Photographer| Sweet Baby {E}

I had the honor of photographing my good friend’s new little grandson.. and I have to tell you, that my camera loved him! He was so sweet and just cooperated so well! I forgot how little newborns are.. which is crazy since my newborn is only 20 weeks old!  Anyway, I pulled out a few of my favorites from our morning and here they are:

First is an amazing photo of baby Elijah and his Dad.. such a cool moment…

And my absolute favorite from the day:

I tell you I just love photographing those babies!!!  Thanks Katie and Josh for letting me photograph your amazing little guy :)

Glendale Family Photographer| The {K} Family

It feels so good to be sharing some of my sessions with you all again! Here is the adorable {K} Family! They were so fun and the camera loved them too! Sojung is also a speech pathologist which makes me like her even more :) Here are some of my favorite photos from our afternoon:

I told you they were a great family :)

Happy 2010!!!

Where in the world is Audra Little??? I know, I know… I have been missing in action big time! I have been a very busy bee and I hope to share some of what I’ve been doing over the next week or so. I must have at least 6 sessions that I need to post on here too… adorable families that everyone must see :) So be on the look out for those very soon!

So where have I been?? Well, I’ve been here. I haven’t been out of town or someplace exciting. I’ve been home trying to balance life, work, photography, the holidays, a husband, a 4 year old and one happy little newborn…. phew! You can see why I’ve been out of commission for a bit! But I’m starting to get a handle on things, which means I have time again to do the fun stuff like blog :) I’ve missed it!

My holidays were great! Ellie loved her gifts from Santa and I have to wonder what he was thinking when he brought her the Hungry Hippo Game… I guess he didn’t know that the plastic grinds on plastic and that every word out of her mouth for about 5 days straight would be, “you want to play hungry hippo with me?” repeated over and over again. She is adorable though :)

Reagan is growing like a weed. She is now 16 weeks old and I really need to post some updated photos of her. My goal is to do some nice portraits this weekend. She is giggling and smiling and overall is a sweet little thing. She loves to cuddle and just coos and babbles to Jeff and I every moment she can.

Here is a quick photo of the girls with Santa.. taken with the point and shoot :)

So that’s an update on my life…. Happy Belated New Year!

Glendale Family Photographer| The {W} family

A few months ago I had the pleasure of taking Aubri’s newborn photos and when her mother e-mailed me about taking holiday pictures I was thrilled! It was great seeing how big Aubri is getting and how cute she is! Her mother bought her the most adorable little santa hat too.. which we attempted to take photos in. Aubri wasn’t too thrilled to be on her tummy, but overall we got some great photos. I love her holiday dress too..Here are a few sneak peaks :)

We wore poor Aubri out.. in fact while we were taking photos, she fell right to sleep in her mother’s arms… so sweet….

Thanks again Nicole and Wayne for a great session!!

Phoenix Maternity Photographer| Cynthia’s having a baby!!

Cynthia and Hugh are expecting a little boy soon and they couldn’t be happier! They are so cute! It’s so fun to see parent’s expecting their first child.. especially when I was just in their shoes not so long ago.. Cynthia and Hugh are going to be great parents! We took photos at their house and then some at a near by golf club.. it was beautiful and the weather was perfect. Here are a few photos from our day together:

Now I can’t wait to get my hand on their newborn.. coming soon!!! :) Thanks Cynthia and Hugh!!
