The {O} Family-Glendale | Glendale Family Photographer

This is the {O} Family and no it’s not Oprah :) Wouldn’t that be a kick if it was!!  I’ve known the {O} Family for a couple of years now, but I havent’ seen them in almost a year. River, the little boy is so sweet and has grown so much! He has the most beautiful blue eyes and his parents are amazing! He wasn’t too happy with getting his picture taken, but overall the session turned out to be great. River loves whistles and with that we captured some amazing smiles!  Here are a few favotires from our day:

As for me.. I’ve been keeping super busy with Ellie. She is doing great in swim lessons as well as her tap/ballet combo class. I’ve decided that 4 little girls dancing around in their little tutu’s and ballet shoes is the cutest thing ever! I know I need to cherish this stuff because she is getting so big every day! I might also add that she is getting sassy too! She is very excited for her baby sister and she keeps asking me when our baby will be here. I tell her in a few months, but I know she has no concept of time. I, myself can’t believe my baby will be here in about 3 months. I have so much to do too! The baby’s room is currently my office, so I need to switch it out.. easier said than done right?!

The {Q} Family

About a week ago I had the opportunity to take pictures of the {Q} Family. I have known them for years and it all started with Craig’s list. Bejel (the mother) runs a day care and Ellie has been going there since she was 11 months old. Crazy to believe it has been that long. Anyway, this was the first real opportunity I’ve had to get them behind the camera.. They are a beautiful family.. here are a few from our afternoon:

Summer seems to be flying by.. the weather has been amazing and I’m almost afraid to say that. I’m afraid I’ll jinx it and then next week I’ll be miserable in the heat. Ellie and I have been keeping very busy and I have to admit I like having the time off. She is doing great with her swim lessons and she loves to go to dance. I will definitely have to take photos of that! Pregnancy is going well. Some of you may not know because I didn’t make an official announcement, but we are having a girl!! I’m very excited and the reality of it is really starting to hit. Only about 3 months left.. eek! I have so much to do in the mean time.

The {R} Family

Kade is getting so big! He is now 6 months old and this time we decided to include his family for a few shots :) They wore blue, which really brought out all of their eyes! Here are a few from our day. I also included a story board I made. These are available in a variety of sizes, so if interested, just let me know…

Summer is officially here and it’s so great to be off from school! Ellie is having the best time staying home with mom and we are starting are little routine. She started swimming lessons yesterday and she is a complete fish! Next week we start dance and tumbling. I’m hoping to keep us very busy so that we don’t go stir crazy. I just need to find things that don’t cost a fortune :) Any suggestions??

The {H} Family

This is the Hamilton family and their kids are darling! Ayva is about 4 years old and she has the most amazing blue eyes. Her brother is pretty handsome too and he too has great eyes! I met their parents when they were part of a wedding I recently took photos at. We took some indoors and then headed to Anthem park to take some more. It was pretty bright out, but we did our best to get some good shots. Here are a few favorites from the day:

Baby Charlotte

This is Charlotte and she is so sweet. Last Monday I headed out to take her picture and she was amazing. I just love newborns.. good thing, since I have one coming in about 4 1/2 months. She stayed awake for most of our session, but when she did fall asleep I managed to get the coolest photo of her on the baby scale. Here are a few from our evening:

This is probably one of my new favorite photos:

Our 3 days weekend was busy with tons of food and friends. We had a little BBQ on Friday night to celebrate school getting out. It was great! Jeff made the best Carne Asada. I can’t seem to get enough mexican food :) Especially the salsa. I could probably eat a jar of fresh salsa just by itself. School is out and I am so excited just to get caught up with everything. I have a ton of photos to edit and post on my blog too. Hopefully I’ll get some posted each day this week. I hate being behind. Ok, I’m off to edit more :) Ta ta for now!!

{N} is having a baby!

My very good friend is going to have a baby very soon and I am so excited! Jeff, Ellie and I headed over to their house for a great evening of food and fun. Ellie rocked the drums on “Rock Band”. I went over a little early to get some maternity shots of Nicole. She looks fabulous! I can only hope that I would look this great when I’m only a few weeks from birth.. somehow I don’t think it will happen. Anyways, here are a few favorites:

and of course we had to get one with the family dog “Stella”…

The {G} Family

On Sunday the {G} family and I headed out to Ocotillo Golf Resort. What a beautiful & amazing place. Jessica and her husband Matt were married there about 5 years ago, so they thought it would be fun to have new photos of their family taken there. It’s amazing what can happen in five years, as I’m sure they know :)  Their two boys were adorable and I must admit they were truly boys.. we had a fun time watching them play golf on the putting green too! Here are just a few of my favorite from our morning.

Thank you guys for a great morning and for surviving the heat with me :)

The {R} Family

On Sunday I headed to Sahuaro Ranch Park with the {R} Family.  We found some great little places to take photos and they were perfect! Little Maria is quite the “ham” and loved making faces at the camera. It’s amazing what a little bribe of icecream can do to make you smile… yeah mom!!  Gretta was just the sweetest little thing.. she had a little cold, but still managed to give us a few smiles. They wore the cutest dresses too and made me even more excited to have 2 girls… I can’t wait to dress them up!! So here are a few favorites from our morning:

Thank you ladies for sharing your Sunday morning with me.. next time we’ll bring dad too :)

{N} Senior Class of 2009

Natalia and I headed out to DC ranch to get just a couple head shots of her for her senior announcements. Needless to say I ended up taking way more than just a couple. Natalia is beautiful and was so easy and fun to work with. I have no idea how she will pick just one or two poses for her announcements. Here are a few of my favorties from the afternoon:

Thanks Natalia and congrats on your upcoming graduation!!

Baby {F} and where have I been?

Finn is so sweet and has the most serious little expressions at times, but when she smirks, you can see the little fire in her eyes…she is darling! I don’t think she felt very well, but she was a complete trooper! Here are a few from our day:

This photo has a story behind it. The little dog in the picture belongs to Finn’s grandfather and then was given to her father and now she has it. Each one of them has a picture just like this (yes all are B&W) with the dog. Each in a “onesie” and each with the dog in front of them. Isn’t that neat? I think it would be great to have all 3 pictures lined up next to each other on a wall.

On a different note, many of you might have notice that I have been missing for the past 2 weeks… well I had a horrible head/sinus cold. I was completely miserable and I’m sure I made everyone around me the same way. The worst part about being sick when you are pregnant is that you can’t take anything.. well anything that works wonders when you feel so bad. I seriously don’t remember the last time I felt so sick. So now I’m playing major catch up. I’m pretty sure my “to do” list is never ending at this point. Other than that things are good. I’m actually starting to feel better and I have noticed some more energy. Brushing my teeth is still a challenge, but overall I would say I’m good.

I’ve been watching American Idol again this season and really they all seem to be pretty good. I think they have all gone out in the order that they should, and I was happy they saved Matt last night. I do think Lil probably needs to go next. If they tell her one more time she needs to sing more hip songs and she comes out looking like a 40 year old, I’m going to scream. Ok, I’m obviously rambling now.. so off I go :)
