Sedona Arizona | Wedding Photographer | Kaitlan & Cory

What happens when you go on a cruise with your friends… you end up meeting the love of your life… or so that’s what happened to Kaitlan and Cory. Who knew a cruise could bring such a reward??
Kaitlan and Cory had the most beautiful wedding in Sedona. Their original venue ended up not working out and after a few sweat and probably some tears they ended up at Seven Canyons… which in the end ended up being perfect!! I can’t tell you enough how perfect this wedding was… Kaitlan is a beautiful bride, Cory was handsome, the backdrop for their first look.. the scenery at the reception…the reception venue, the food, the company… everything was gorgeous! I am so happy to share these pictures and it was very hard with only chosing as many as I did.. I really wanted to share ALL of them. I also want to send a huge thank you to my friend Holly McCaig who helped me photograph the wedding as well…

Glendale Arizona | Family Photographer | The {M} Family

Ok I know I’ve said this before about this family, but I swear they are just the cutest family ever!! I just want to squeeze the kids everytime I see them… somehow I think the parents might take offense to that :)

I have photographed this family a few times now and every time we just have so much fun!

Glendale Arizona | Senior Portraits | Kyle | Deer Valley High School

It’s hard to believe that it’s already mid May.. and the end of school is fast approaching!! I am very excited for summer and I’m sure most Senior are also looking forward to their new adventures!!  This is Kyle. Kyle is graduating for Deer Valley High School. He is definitely an “outdoor” kind of guy, and Saghuaro Ranch was a perfect spot!

Glendale Wedding Photographer| Russell & Rachael are Getting Married!!

Again, my poor blog has been neglected. Needless to say, life continues to be crazy.  I swear my family and I are constantly on the go and it seems like finding time to sit and breathe is somewhat hard to do.  It’s almost Spring Break and the weather is getting warmer too, which is always great! Phoenix in March is the reason I live here :)  … Now remember I wrote that when I’m complaining in August! Even though I haven’t updated my blog, doesn’t mean I haven’t been keeping busy with Photography.. on the contrary! I’ve been swamped which is completely awesome!  I’ve met some great new clients and have also photographed some of my regulars.. it never gets boring!  I do have to share my latest engagement session.. this couple is so cute and they are the type of couple that just exude LOVE! They are so in love and they made my session so easy. I didn’t even half to tell them to kiss or cuddle because it came natural to them.

We headed out to Scottsdale and had a fantastic afternoon! Here are just a few favorites of mine:

Deer Valley High School Senior Portraits| Class of 2012| Brandon

This is Brandon and he is graduating in May.. which I might add will be here before we know it. He’s my first senior for this school year and it was a nice change :)   It’s amazing how much older kids follow directions and look at the camera without you even telling them too ;)   Don’t get me wrong, I love the little wild kids too!!  His family and I headed out for some Family photos but we also concentrated on him. Goodyear Maternity Photographer| Jessica is having a baby!!

About 3 years ago I met this great family and took their maternity photos.. a few months later I took their baby photos too.. and then it was quiet… until last month when Jessica contacted me to take her photos because she was pregnant again! I always love it when a client says… “I’m not sure if you remember me……” The truth is I remember ALL of my clients! How could I not?  I may not remember names (especially the spouses, lol) but I will at least remember the photos we took.  So back to the story.. when Jessica contacted me I was thrilled to see them again. I love seeing the kids grow, especially if you haven’t seen them in a couple of years.  Their daughter {J} is turning 3 this month, so we also captured some fun shots of her too… she is going to be a great big sister :)   Here are a few favorites from our afternoon together:

Scottsdale Family Photographer| The {R} Family

This family is one of my favorite families to photograph. They are all over my website :) Sara and I used to work together for many years and I miss seeing her every day… though when I do get to see her I feel like we still work together. Both of the boys are having birthdays this month, so Sara wanted 1 year old, 3 year old and Christmas pictures done… I think we did a pretty good job:

Phoenix Newborn Photographer| Welcome to the World Baby {S}

This is sweet little Savannah and she is beautiful! She had a rough little go at it her first week, but now she is healthy and ready to see the world! She was perfect for us as we photographed her. She slept like a pro, which is a good thing for her parents ;) Here are just a few of the shots we got of her:
Isn’t she beautiful? I swear photographing babies gives me baby fever for about an hour or so and then I come home to my 2 year old and all is forgotten… LOL!

Buckeye Family Photographer| The {K} Family

I have known the {K} Family for many years and I always like getting the chance to hang out with them. They live out in Verrado and I’ve always wanted the opportunity to photograph a family out there.. so when they asked if I was interested I jumped at the opportunity! Verrado is such a cool little place… I just wish it wasn’t so far “out” there! We hit the downtown area and even a near by park.. here are a few favorites from our morning:

I have been so crazy busy lately, but it’s been great! Yesterday was Thanksgiving and we headed over to my cousin’s house for the festivities. Lisa got to experience her first USA Thanksgiving and she was stuffed afterwards.. yep, that’s the American way :) Then the best part of the experience is when I took her out for Black Friday shopping.. we started at Walmart, then headed over to Target and ended at Old Navy. We got home about 5:30 am and then headed back out around noon… we are exhausted.. but it was worth it!
