Happy Birthday Ellie!

Today my baby is 3 years old!! I can’t believe it. Time sure has flown by. I’m amazed at the wonderful little person she has become. Her humor is starting to shine through as well as her overall compassion. Unfortunately she is sick on her birthday. She has a nasty head cold with a cough. She stayed home yesterday and today. Here are two pics of her :)

**These are straight off my little point and shoot**

I’m going to watch some American Idol tonight… Love Neil Diamond!!

Arizona Autism United

Yesterday I had the wonderful opportunity to combine both of my jobs. I got to take photos for the Arizona Autism United’s annual meeting. What a wonderful group and what a great meeting. They had activities for the kids, as well as massage tables for the adults. It was at the Farm at South Mountain, and what a cool place. I had only been there once before and I forgot how cute it is! Perfect for outdoor activities. I took a ton of photos! Here is a little slide show from the day:

As usual my weekend was a whirlwind. Jeff and I went out with Raquelle and Mark to the club Skye for dinner. Excellent food! The crowd was a little older, but we still had a great time. On Tuesday Ellie will be 3! I can’t believe it. I’m afraid she is getting sick though… lots of coughing today. Fingers crossed that it will pass quickly!

Jerome

While Holly was here we here I seriously dragged her all over! We went to Sedona and on the way back we went to Jerome. I don’t remember the last time I went to Jerome, but it’s this little mining town up in the mountains. The buildings are literally stacked up high and some of them are on stilts, which go down into the mountain.. some crazy stuff I tell you. The place is a huge biker hang out too.  Anyway, here are some fun pics from the day:

I’m starting to get through alot of my photos.. thank goodness. My new computer is awesome and my monitor is HUGE! I love it!  Today we are headed out to see some friends of ours for lunch. They flew in from California. Then it’s off to a family dinner with some extended family that came here all the way from Germany. I’ve never met them, but they are my mother’s cousins. Should be pretty cool!

Speaking of my mother.. she just had her LAST chemo treatment on Friday!!! Wooo hooo!! I am soooo proud of her. She didn’t think she would make it when she first started. It was a tough battle, but she made it!! Now she has 5 weeks of radiation, but I think that starts in 2 weeks.

Tomorrow is Ellie’s first day of preschool!  I can’t believe my little baby is going to be 3 next week and that she is old enough for preschool!! Yesterday we bought her a Tinkerbell backpack and she loves it. She has worn it all over the house.

Emily

Last Friday I had a great time taking photos of  Emily for her senior pictures! She was the sweetest girl and put up with me moving her to a bunch of different places.  My friend Holly was in town and came along with me. It was fun! Here are a few of my favorites from the day.

I’m so glad that my new computer is set up! I finally got most of my files transferred over too… it took forever!!  Let me just say that editing is so much faster now!!  I have a ton of photos from my weekend in Sedona and Jerome.. I hope to post those this weekend too!

Today I got a much needed haircut and color. I cut off about 2 inches in the back. I really like the cut (at least now while it looks good because someone else did it!). Now I just need to make it look this good tomorrow on my own.

Ok I’m exhausted.. time for bed! Have a great weekend!

Pink Jeep!!

Today Holly and I are up in Sedona. It is amazing here. We went on a Pink Jeep Tour and it was sooooo cool!! We went on the broken arrow trail and it was insane.  Our guide Josh (I think that was his name) was great. We also shared the jeep with some great guys and boys from Connecticut.  Anyway, Holly has been quite the trooper as I’ve dragged her all over town and state for that matter!  Here are a few pictures from our day today:

After our little tour we headed out for Italian food and polished off a bottle of wine… which made me super sleepy. I’m getting old!!! LOL  Ok off to bed! More blogging later and I’ll post some photos from my latest Senior photo shoot from Friday.

Is it just me, or is Simon just really nasty and mean this year. Almost too mean.

I finished editing my photos of Allison. Her proofs should be here tomorrow! I can’t wait to see them. Photos always look so much better in print!  I’m really happy with how the B&W ones turned out too. Here are 2 of my favorites:
