Boise… The {T} Family

Sorry it took me a few days to post more of my Boise photos, but  I was in Santa Monica for the weekend (those pics are coming soon too!) I got back Sunday night and have been back to the “grindstone” ever since.  While I was in Boise, I had the opportunity to take photos of my cousin’s very good friend Tina and her family.  We took the pictures outside by her house and the colors were amazing!  I love red (which I’m sure I have mentioned before) Well, the trees were bright reddish orange and they were wearing black, so everything really popped!  What’s even more amazing is the fact that the cat even cooperated and looked at the camera.  I must admit that the cat was a first for me… plenty of dogs, but never a cat.  Enough said, here are the photos:

( I put a little vintage tint on that one)

Beautiful family, surrounded by beautiful trees and leaves… nice huh?

Boise, ID… The {H} Family

I told you all I would be posting some more pictures from my trip to Boise…and here they are! This is the {H} Family and they were great to work with. I truly believe there is a difference between boys and girls then it comes to getting their pictures taken. Girls are truly “hams” where as boys/men just want it to be over with :) After a bribe of “dinner out” the boys eventually warmed up and we had a great time. Even the dog cooperated!! I took these pictures down by the Boise River.. it was so pretty.. stunning really.

I have more.. so stay tuned :)

Boise, ID with the {C} Family

I’m exhausted…. I arrived back in Phoenix this morning at 8 am from my weekend getaway trip to Boise, ID. I had so much fun and was so sad to leave. Don’t get me wrong, I missed Jeff and Ellie a ton, but it was nice to just get away! It was a whirlwind of a weekend.. but still fun. On Friday we saw the movie, “The Secret Life of Bees” It was so good. The acting was great. I cried my eyes out too. Another great thing about Boise, was actually experiencing fall. I just loved seeing all of the colors of the trees. Boise is beautiful. If I had to move tomorrow my top choices would be:

1. Boise, ID
2. Savannah, GA

I love Arizona.. but after a loooong summer, I often dream of other places.. places that are cool and actually have 4 seasons. Ask me again in January, I’m sure number 1 will be AZ!

My trip to Boise was also a working trip for me. I took lots of photos!! I took photos of 3 different families, which I will share over the next few days :) First is my cousin Patty and her family! I swear they are the all American family. One word: Beautiful. I seriously dragged them all over the city! I even made them change clothes :) It was well worth it…..

Stay tuned.. more to come over the next few days!!!

Prescott, AZ

When Andie and Holly were here, we headed up to Prescott for the day to take photos! They are so much fun to hang out with.. not too mention they are so talented as well. I love learning new things and they were great mentors that day :) Here are a few snapshots from the day… I had fun using some of Andie’s lightroom presets too:

While we were there, we had the yummiest Christmas Beer at the Prescott Brewing Company. I swear it tasted like Christmas… You MUST try it if you are there. I’m not a huge beer drinker, but it sure was delicious! We decided that next time they come out, we are going to stay at the Vendome in room 16.. only because it’s supposed to be haunted…eek!

When they were here we also took Miss Ellie out for a little photo shoot… those are coming soon!!! Tomorrow I am taking maternity photos! I guess I will have a lot to share in the upcoming days, so check back!!
