The {S} Family

The {S} Family has been in front of my camera many times, and it’s so great to see the little ones grow up! “C” the older one, is so full of energy and really wanted nothing to do with my camera. He pretty much loved the waterfall and not us! Little “T” is just adorable.. and gave us a few smiles, but really was more interested in his toes or the grass. Despite their other interests, we managed to get some great shots. Here are just a few from our session… I tell you, I want to be 2 again.. free and full of energy!

I can’t believe tomorrow is 2009! I swear it just turned 2000 didn’t it? Every year seems to go faster. I’m officially getting old because only old people say that! We don’t have too much planned tonight, just dinner over at a friend’s house. It should be low key :)

Speaking of getting older, last night I watch the old movie “Summer School”. It was funny to see the great 80′s outfits. I realized that I was a junior in high school when that came out. Crazy!

Ok.. I’m done rambling! To all my friends, family, coworkers and clients, I wish you a very, very Happy New Year!!

Christmas

Here is a quick little slideshow from our Christmas. Besides Ellie getting sick, it was a great day! My whole family came over and we had yummy prime rib and then played left-right-center! So much fun! Then we broke open my new Scene it game for xbox.. another great game!

The {M} Family

I’ve known this family for many years…in fact, they have known me since I was just a small child. We typically see each other every Christmas eve, but it’s been a few years. How appropriate that I would see them during the holidays :) It was such an amazing afternoon! Even the kids cooperated, and I might add they are just the cutest kids! They were complete “hams” and made my job so easy!! Here are some fun pictures from the day.. I played around and made a few “vintage” just to mix it up a bit!

Isn’t that blond curly hair amazing! I love it!!

Christmas was great, except for the fact that Ellie threw up right before dinner :( She got a ton of gifts and was so excited. I’ll write all about it tomorrow!

The {L} Family and how to make the most of the unexpected!

Yesterday I was scheduled to do a family photo session at the Farm at South Mountain. We got there and we were already to get started, when we got kicked out! Apparently they close at 4 pm on Sundays. Oops! So I made the best of my navigation system and noticed that South Mountain park was near by so we all got in our cars and headed there… and thank goodness we did! We found this old house and got some very cool pictures! I love the texture of the rock and the colors of the stone made them pop out! I have so many that I like.. but space is limited on the blog, so I only included a few. By the way, this family was great and so willing to “go with the flow”! Thanks!!!

We even got a great “generations” photo done!

Today I was off from work and I actually got some shopping done! The traffic is insane.. the lines weren’t too bad, so that was good. They say we are in a recession, but really you can’t tell when you are standing in line at a store.. specifically Target. I love Target.. and I’m a sucker for the red stickers. I swear.. if there is a red sticker on it, I need it!

The {G} Family and other ramblings…

Yesterday I took a trip to Chandler and took pictures of the {G} family. Jenny is so nice and her kids are so stinkin’ cute! Look how blue her little boys eyes are! The kids didn’t love having their photos taken.. thank goodness for a couple of lollipops! Here is a sneak peek!:

The flu has hit my house. Both Jeff and Ellie were home with fevers today and I’m trying my best not to catch it. I really don’t have time to be sick, but I’m sure germs/viruses don’t take that into consideration. I’m actually ignoring the fact that I have a huge headache.

It was freezing today. Today was the first day that actually felt like winter to me. I haven’t been that cold in a while. On top of it, we had rain… rain + cold = pajama day.

Lawrence & Melanie get married!

So the day after we got back from Disney World, I had the wonderful opportunity of taking Lawrence and Melanie’s wedding photos!! I truly had an amazing time at their wedding! They are so in love and you can just feel it when you are around them! Melanie and Lawrence were so great and willing to have fun… including us dragging them out onto a busy street! I think it was worth it in the end!!! Here are just a few from the day:

Thanks you guys for a wonderful day! My friend Joy helped me out too… last minute, and I couldn’t have done it without her :)

“Santa Baby” & his family…

Little Jace is getting older… still as cute as ever.. and this time, he included his family in the photo shoot. His brother Dillion was even excited to get his picture taken!  Here are a few from our day on Saturday:

Cute huh?!  On Sunday we headed over to the Citadel to see Santa. Ellie was a little afraid at first, but then she ran over and gave him a big huge hug.  It was so cute!  We keep asking her what she wants from Santa and she keeps telling us “a toy”.   I hope that means she’ll be happy with any toy. :)

What do your kids want from Santa???
